Marking areas for swimmers

Marking areas for swimmers
Saba has a small but committed swimming community. As Saba is a very steep, Vulcanic island, there are few places where swimming access is possible. In addition, Saba has no public swimming pools. Because of this, swimming mostly takes place at the small Fort Bay Harbor. Unfortunately, swim training is hard, as there are no clear distance markers. To help the swim community in their swim training, we want to add distance markers to the Fort Bay harbor dock. This gives the opportunity to do small interval training. In addition, we want to purchase a swim buoy, that can be deployed by the swimmers themselves. This swim buoy can be deployed to an anchor, placed on the seabed. The swim buoy will give the swimmers the option to do longer swims and will provide safety if needed.
